Last July, the PROSPERI team travelled to Senegal as part of the Football d’Inspiration operation organised in partnership with SIBOO (Sport Marketing Consulting), with the aim of developing social impact initiatives based around sport, social inclusion and empowerment.
The first highlight of the operation was a conference at which Aurélien, as a football professional and inspirational figure, met young people, most of whom are passionate about sport. This very rewarding meeting turned into a real solidarity action where he was able to share his experience, answer many questions and give a lot of precious advice.
Just as interesting, the young people were curious to find out more about the Prosperi Endowment Fund, how it works and Aurélien’s motivations for setting up such a structure at such a young age…
Following this discussion, the day continued with a gala match, an opportunity for many young people from amateur clubs in Dakar and the surrounding area to showcase their talents. The event ended with the Prosperi team handing out sports equipment.
The donation of sports equipment to around ten clubs to support their development has given young people an extra touch of motivation, enabling them to train and pursue their dreams with the right tools. This solidarity initiative has also strengthened links within the community, highlighting the values of mutual aid and solidarity.
